Borehole Rehabilitation: Bring Your Borehole Back to Life
Has your borehole stopped giving water, is the flow lower, is the water dirty or does the pump keep failing? Before drilling again, a diagnosis can often save the existing borehole.
Pacific Forage SARL in Ngousso (Yaoundé), with 15 years of cumulative experience and over 9 years in Cameroon, works on boreholes drilled by us or by other companies.
Signs your borehole needs attention
Falling yield
The borehole gives less water than before or stops after a few minutes.
Cloudy or sandy water
Often caused by clogged screens, damaged casing or an inadequate gravel pack.
Pump keeps failing
Dry running, power surges or an undersized pump.
No water at all
Pump failure, collapsed casing or a clogged borehole.

Yes, we also diagnose and rehabilitate boreholes drilled by others.
Can my borehole always be saved?
Not always. The diagnosis shows whether repair, cleaning or a new borehole is the best option.
Why is my water sandy?
Often because of damaged screens or casing, or an inadequate gravel pack. The diagnosis confirms it.
Do you repair hand pumps?
Yes, including India Mark II/III and Vergnet hand pumps.
